• Due to lightning or any external noise the 240 volts may varies till Kilo-Volts, in such situation the power cable and device should with stands and operate as normal
• TO control high voltages(surge) the device or equipment has diodes called TVS(transient voltage suppressor) or Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV), Which protect the devices from external noises signals.
